Deputy Director of People – Organisational Development, Leadership & Culture
We are seeking an exceptional leader to join East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust as Deputy Director of People – Organisational Development, Leadership & Culture. This pivotal senior management role supports the Director of People in delivering a high‑quality, professional HR service across the Trust.
The post holder will lead on strategic programmes and initiatives designed to ensure our workforce is engaged, well‑supported, well‑led, and highly motivated. They will drive transformation through the development and implementation of Leadership Development, Culture, Talent Management, and Organisational Development strategies, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent and enabling our people to deliver the Trust’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and delivery of organisational development strategies that foster a culture aligned with the Trust’s vision and values.
* Oversee leadership development programmes, talent management processes, and initiatives that support workforce engagement and retention.
* Drive cultural transformation to instil clinical, professional, and managerial excellence with sensitivity to individual needs.
* Provide corporate leadership for Organisational Development, Leadership, and Culture functions.
* Ensure the Trust understands its workforce and implements effective support mechanisms, including child and family care services.
