Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year Requirements: DV clearance required Proven experience as an engineering manager in the defence sector Strong knowledge of engineering processes and resource management Experience with MVC pipeline integrations Ability to effectively manage and communicate potential impacts of changes Coordination skills for technical debt identification and remediation plans Ability to size and plan work for deploying changes Incident management experience, particularly for P1 and P2 incidents Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Excellent communication skills for interfacing with customers and teams Responsibilities: Manage engineering resources to deliver Run/Maintain and Change processes Reduce technical debt and integrate changes from the MVC pipeline Coordinate engineering responses for P1-P4 issues to minimize service impact Communicate potential impacts of changes to the service delivery team Manage patching and updates to the solution Work with Technical Authority to identify technical debt and resource requirements Collaborate with the Product Owner for sizing work to deploy changes Develop engineering plans for preparing and executing changes Act as Incident Manager for P1 and P2 incidents Ensure all post-incident actions are tracked and completed Participate in Change Approval Boards to provide status assessments and risk mitigation plans Technologies: MVC Product Owner More: We are seeking an experienced DV cleared engineering manager to join our team in the defence sector.
