Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a Management Accountant to join a highly successful manufacturing organisation based in Newport.
The Management accountant will be working closely with the operations and productions team.
You'll role will cover
1. Analysis of the costs, prepare weekly and monthly variance reports on forecast differences and the causes for labour, overhead, usage & production efficiencies
Prepare plant monthly financial results in accordance with company rules
2. Perform month-end closing for related operations and cost transactions
3. Identify cost saving initiatives
4. Provide analysis and advice to management team on plant financial performance
5. Preparation of plant monthly forecast
6. Preparation of plant annual budget in line with company's strategy
7. Cooperate with UK Financial Controller & Team to ensure plant performance in properly reflected in actual results, forecasts, and budgets
8. Maintain systems and controls over inventory
9. Maintain accurate and reliable product costing process
10. Conduct stock revaluation, and review obsolete stock
On offer - a salary of from £48,000 to £60,000 depending on experience and benefits.
