Job Title: Financial Accountant

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to join our clients finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience and a strong background in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
Manage general ledger accounting and ensure timely reconciliations.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
Monitor and improve internal controls and financial processes.
Assist with cash flow management and treasury functions.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support finance-related initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial accounting role.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero) and Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.KSGalway
