ER Consultant (Interim)

We’re partnering with a large, well-known media organisation undergoing an exciting period of transformation. As the business evolves into a standalone entity, they are looking for an experienced ER Consultant to play a key role in building and stabilising their people infrastructure.
This is a hands-on, “build” role, not a traditional BP position, ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys creating structure from scratch.
The Role
Sitting between HR Business Partnering and HR Operations, you will take ownership of complex ER and help shape the organisation’s people framework.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading complex ER casework
* Managing redundancies, restructures and settlement agreements
* Building ER frameworks, processes and trackers
* Reviewing and developing policies
* Supporting the creation of an employee handbook
* Partnering with senior stakeholders to define and embed best practice
* Providing support across UK and wider EMEA where required
🔹 About You
* Strong ER specialist with experience handling complex, high-volume casework
* Experience in matrix, fast-paced environments (media/creative ideally)
* Comfortable working across UK and EMEA
* Highly proactive with a “roll up your sleeves” mindset
* Able to build structure, challenge where needed, and navigate ambiguity
* Resilient, methodical, and confident working with senior stakeholders
