If you\re looking for something flexible, steady, and simple to slot into, this accounts assistant role could be just the thing to bridge the gap.

You\ll work 3 days a week for the next 3 months, earning up to £30,000 (pro rata), supporting a finance shared services team that\s in the middle of a restructure. They need an extra pair of capable hands while they figure out their long-term shape.

That\s where you come in.

You\ll handle transactional finance across both sides of the ledger - a bit of accounts payable, a bit of accounts receivable. Posting invoices. Reconciling accounts. Chasing the odd payment. Nothing wild. Just solid, useful finance work that keeps the wheels turning.

Because this is a shared services setup, the volumes can be high - but the processes are clean, and you\ll be working with a switched-on team who know what they\re doing.

You\ll need some decent experience as an accounts assistant or in a transactional finance role. If you\ve worked with AP, AR or credit control systems before, even better. This isn\t a learning-on-the-job kind of gig - they need someone who can pick things up quickly and get cracking.

It\s based in Hull with hybrid working on offer (typically one day a week on-site), and the office is a nice place to be when you are in - open, modern, and relaxed.

The accounts assistant contract runs for 3 months initially, but there\s always a chance it could lead to something longer if the stars align.

* Handle transactional finance across both sides of the ledger: accounts payable, accounts receivable; posting invoices; reconciling accounts; chasing payments
* Support a finance shared services team during a mid-cycle restructure
* Contribute to stable, timely financial processing to keep operations running smoothly


Qualifications

* Experience as an accounts assistant or in a transactional finance role
* Experience with AP, AR or credit control systems is advantageous
* Ability to pick up tasks quickly and work autonomously


Location & Schedule

Based in Hull with hybrid working (typically one day on-site per week)


Contract & Opportunities
