We are offering a temporary 6-month opportunity within our Dispute Resolution team to support a dedicated project on the recovery of historical debt. You will work collaboratively with officers leading the project, providing legal advice and guiding processes to ensure effective and lawful recovery of outstanding debts. In addition to supporting the project, you will also manage a caseload of debt recovery matters, applying your legal expertise to progress cases efficiently and in accordance with legal frameworks. This is a unique chance to contribute to a high-priority initiative while gaining valuable experience in public sector litigation and debt recovery. Join a friendly and experienced team of lawyers who handle a wide range of civil and criminal dispute resolution matters. While your designated workplace will be County Hall in Trowbridge, we support hybrid working arrangements that balance flexibility and productivity. Regular office attendance and court attendance, where it is required, are expected. We are looking for someone with strong research, analytical, and communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal and organisational abilities.
