Role purpose / summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to oversee the end-to-end data migration workstream for a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation. This role is pivotal in transitioning legacy systems to SAP using tools such as SAP Data Services and SAP Migration Cockpit. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the data migration lifecycle and full project delivery, with strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the Data Migration Workstream across all phases of the project, from planning through execution and go-live.
2. Manage and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and support where needed.
3. Plan and coordinate migration activities, including defect resolution, cutover planning, and data validation.
4. Conduct data workshops with business and functional teams to gather requirements and align on data strategy.
5. Review and contribute to technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
