Hours: Part-time, term time only, 20 hours per week, school run shifts 7.30am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm

About the Role:
As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in safely transporting service users, including individuals with special needs, to various venues across and outside the city. You'll drive passenger-carrying vehicles of up to 17 seats, ensuring comfort and safety for all passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive vehicles safely and professionally while adhering to road traffic laws.
Assist service users in boarding and alighting, particularly those with mobility impairments.
Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the vehicle, ensuring it is well-equipped for each journey.
Show compassion and customer focus, providing a comfortable and respectful experience for all passengers.
Handle any necessary equipment for wheelchair users, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Record incidents and communicate any issues to supervision promptly.
Plan efficient routes, taking into account the needs of service users and any changes.
What We're Looking For:
A valid category D1 Driving Licence is essential.
Driver CPC is desirable but not required.
A compassionate and patient demeanor, especially when interacting with vulnerable individuals.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
