Threds Construction is a reputable construction company based in Whitstable, Kent, specializing in high-quality residential and commercial refurbishments. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable multi-trade to join our team, for ongoing work in Ashford and surrounding areas..
Role Overview: You will be a part of a team carrying out various maintenance, refurbishment and construction works on residential properties, the work will mainly consist of painting & decorating, tiling, basic plumbing, carpentry etc. This is an excellent opportunity for a versatile tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensuring all work meets health and safety regulations and quality standards
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Complete on site forms when required
* Communicate effectively and work closely with management and other trades
* Ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard
* Perform high-quality workmanship
* Carrying out various building works such as; tiling, plastering, plumbing, painting and decorating etc.
Requirements:
* Self-employed
* Must be CIS registered
* Minimum 3 years' experience of being a multi trade
* Produce quality workmanship and pay attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Must have your own tools, PPE and vehicle
* Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
* Valid full, clean UK driving license
* City & Guilds or equivalent (preferred)
* Good spoken English
* Eligible to legally work in the UK
* CSCS (preferred)
* Must be willing to travel to the yard/site daily
