Are you a people focused details person who likes to build relationships? If so, you could be the person we are looking to join our Crewing Team as our new Crewing Supervisor. If you also love boats, this could be your dream job
Based in our Scarborough office we support the offshore renewable energies market with our growing fleet of boats. Our vessels and crews operate in seas around the UK and mainland Europe visiting a wide range of maritime wind farms.
We're looking for a bright friendly person to build and maintain relationships with our crew, managing their travel arrangements to and from their worksites. You will also deal with their accommodation requirements both on a long and short-term basis.
You will also be part of the crew recruitment process, liaising with key stakeholders within the business including the senior management team.
As part of this role there will be an element of travel involved to meet your crews at their vessels and conduct structured feedback sessions with them, though you won't be expected to sail with them.
Our vessels work everyday of the year and so we operate an on-call rota to cover days when the office is closed.
This is an involved role, pivotable to the success of our business. Ideally, you will have a strong eye for detail, IT literate and have a very good working knowledge of Excel. If you are organised, outgoing and passionate about getting the best deal for the business then we want to hear from you.
Although this may sound like a lot, we will ensure you receive all the training you need to succeed in your new role. As your skills increase, so will your role until you are managing your own group of vessels and their crew.
