What Does a Classroom Supervisor Do? In this role, you'll be responsible for supervising lessons during teacher absences. You won't be expected to teach new content - instead, you'll ensure students stay on task, complete the work set, and follow school routines. Main Responsibilities: Overseeing lessons across different subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4 Maintaining order and encouraging positive behaviour in the classroom Supporting students in understanding and completing set work Reporting any behavioural or academic concerns to appropriate staff Assisting with general school duties, including corridor and break supervision Representing the school's values as a positive adult role model Who Should Apply?
