Monday - Friday, days regular with flexible hours Here at Bluearrow, we are recruiting a Repair Engineer to work for a company based in Blackwood on a full time, permanent contract. Duties/ Responsibilities Reporting to the engineering manager as a repair engineer, you will be required to provide a high level of support to the workshop and design repair schemes under our EASA/ UK CAA 145 and UK CAA Part 21J approval. Ideally you will be familiar with aircraft engine nacelles, composites materials, repair design practices and procedures and have a sound understanding of aerospace repair processes. You will also be required to liaise with OEM's providing in-depth reports from time to time. Required Experience Aerospace background with a minimum of degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering is essential Proven record of producing solutions to diverse engineering projects Ideally have a minimum of 5 years experience within the aerospace industry and a repair design background Develop structurally acceptable and cost-effective repair schemes for a wide variety of aerospace components, both metallic and composite.
