The role
As a Mechanical Specialist, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Planning and leading maintenance programming.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
1. The Identification and rectification of all Chalfont system defects and alterations to ensure the continued availability and performance of the system.
2. Ensure procedure intent, standards and specifications are met whilst progressing work.
3. Ensure correct Quality Documentation is reviewed and called for at commencement and throughout each project activity
4. Deputise for the Chalfont Senior Specialists as required.
This role is full time and based onsite at Faslane.
Essential experience of the Mechanical Specialist:
5. Shipbuilding, construction, oil & gas, aviation, manufacturing backgrounds.
Qualifications for the Mechanical Specialist:
6. SVQ 3 mechanical apprenticeship or HNC

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
