WHAT’S THE ROLE?
Social moves fast. We move faster. We’re after a Social First Creative who lives in the feed, thinks in culture, and can turn a trending moment into brand-building work before most agencies have finished their kick-off call.
You’ll sit at the sharp end of the work — ideating, briefing, creating and optimising content for brands people actually care about. Think scroll-first, not deck-first. Reactive when it matters, considered when it counts, always tied back to a bigger brand story.
You’ll know what a brand should jump on, what it should sit out, and why. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with our social leads, digital team and creatives to turn insight and performance data into content that earns attention — not just impressions.
You’ll need to be able to:
* Live on the feed: TikTok, Instagram, the corners of the internet most people don’t know exist yet. You’re tuned in before a trend’s a trend.
* Spot the signal in the noise: know the difference between a passing meme and a genuine brand opportunity — and explain the call clearly.
* Lead ideas, not just execute them: bring creative concepts that work for the platform and ladder up to the wider brand and campaign.
* Make the work, not just brief it: confident in Adobe, Canva, CapCut and whatever else gets the job done fast and well.
* Write like a human: sharp, culturally aware, adaptable. Comments, captions, reactive posts — tone on point every time.
* Turn data into better creative: work with the digital team to translate performance into sharper ideas, not just more of the same.
* Sell the work: present ideas clearly to clients and internal teams. Confident enough to push for bold work and open enough to take feedback well.
* Understand the mechanics: why content performs, why it flops, and how to connect that thinking from insight through to execution.
THE TICK BOX STUFF:
* 4+ years in a creative social role — agency or in-house.
* Full channel ability cross Instagram and TikTok — essential.
* Solid FMCG or B2C brand experience — you’ve made content for brands, not just about them.
* A portfolio or reel that does the talking — ideas, craft, cultural awareness.
* Comfortable leading projects, handling clients and giving honest, constructive feedback.
* A proper eye for detail and high standards for the work you put your name to.
* Genuinely curious about AI and already using it in your creative process.
* The commute to Altrincham is no bother.

We’re a brand commerce agency based in Altrincham. Twenty years in, and an official TikTok Shop Partner, we believe brand and performance should work together — not sit in different rooms — and everything we do runs through our Shift > Engage > Convert framework.
