This is an excellent opportunity to join our QSSHE department and be an integral part of a collaborative and dynamic team. Leading a team of dedicated Environmental Advisors, you will have responsibility for providing competent and proactive environmental support to onshore and offshore producing assets. Working closely with other teams, you will ensure that all environmental requirements are fully understood, risks, controls, and mitigations are identified and implemented in a timely, economical, and effective manner, from operations through to decommissioning, including projects, drilling, infill, etc.
This role reports directly to the QSSHE Manager and is based in our Norwich office, working Monday to Friday. Some travel to other sites and offshore visits may be required.
Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Management of all OPPC, ETS, Chemical permits for offshore.
2. Review all permit submissions to the regulator.
3. Provide technical input into Terminal Environmental Operations.
4. Develop an Environmental plan supporting ISO14001 initiatives and milestones.
5. Coordinate and lead the maintenance of ISO14001:2015.
6. Conduct scheduled audits and inspections.
7. Manage Environmental SEMS documents.
8. Ensure timely submission of reports such as EEMS, OSPAR, OPPC, SECR.
9. Represent the company in external environmental affairs.
10. Advise on environmental policies and legislation compliance.
11. Monitor legislative changes and assess their impact.
12. Review personnel and contractor performance regarding environmental standards.
13. Conduct site visits for investigations and root cause analysis.
14. Work with training teams to develop and deliver environmental training and advisory documents.
15. Maintain OPEPs.
16. Participate in the IMT.
17. Contribute to the environmental aspect of the HSE budget.
18. Manage the Environmental Advisors and oversee project environmental supervision.
Safety & Environmentally Critical Courses:
* Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences
* NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
* Incident Investigator course

Key Requirements Include:
Essential:
* Experience in offshore upstream Oil & Gas environmental roles at Advisor or Team Leader level.
* Experience across offshore production, subsea, drilling, and well intervention operations.
* Knowledge of UK environmental regulations and influence strategies.
* Understanding of emissions management and trading schemes.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Degree in Environmental Management, Engineering, or related field.
* ISO14001 trained auditor.
* Knowledge of ISO14001:2015, SCR2015, PORTAL, EEMS, ETSWAP, and SECR.
Preferred:
* Leadership or supervisory experience.
* 10+ years in Oil and Gas industry.
* Full membership of IEMA or similar.
* Incident investigation training.
* MSc in Environmental Management or similar.
* Experience with onshore terminals, COMAH, NORM Management, RPS.
Abilities:
