£32,000–£34,000 Base + Strong Tronc

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef to join one of the Cotswolds’ most respected 2 AA Rosette destination pubs.

Set in one of the most beautiful villages in England, this is a serious, food-led kitchen known for seasonal British cooking, trusted local sourcing, and confident, ingredient-driven food rooted in classical technique.

This is not a volume pub kitchen — it is a well-structured, quality-driven brigade offering the rare combination of high standards, strong earnings and genuine work–life balance.

The Role

This role is suited to either:

* A strong Chef de Partie looking to step up and take on more responsibility
or
* A current Junior Sous Chef looking to develop within a highly respected Rosette kitchen.

Working closely with the Head Chef and senior team, you will:

* Run your section confidently during prep and service
* Deliver clean, precise, flavour-driven food at 2 AA Rosette standard
* Support the day-to-day organisation and smooth running of the kitchen
* Assist with seasonal menu development and daily specials
* Support and help develop junior members of the brigade
* Maintain high standards across prep, hygiene, discipline and execution
* Contribute to a strong, professional kitchen culture

For the right person, there is genuine scope to develop further within the brigade.

* 2 AA Rosette standard
* Contemporary British, seasonal cooking

The Package

* £32,000–£34,000 base salary
* Circa £8,000–£10,000 annual tronc (well-established system)
* 45-hour contract | 4-day working week
* High-quality live-in accommodation nearby (£230–£280 pcm, all-inclusive)
* Staff meals on duty
* 50% off food + 25% off drinks for you and guests
* On-site parking
* Long-term progression within a respected Cotswolds operation

The Ideal Candidate

* Strong Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef
* Background in quality fresh-food kitchens
* Rosette experience advantageous, but not essential for the right chef
* Strong foundations in modern British cooking
* Organised, calm and reliable in service
* Ambitious, motivated and keen to progress
* Positive attitude and strong team ethic
