Senior Asset Manager
getGroup • UK (Remote, with travel to Addlestone)
The getGroup Corporation is a genuine first-to-market mover, combining B2B multi-tenanted yard solutions through getYards alongside B2C self storage in containers via getBoxxd.
We currently operate 20 live sites across the UK, with an ambitious growth trajectory of adding two to three new sites per month.
Role Description
This is a full-time role that is mainly remote and mobile, with a requirement to attend key team meetings in Weybridge up to two days a week.
The successful candidate will own the commercial performance of the getYards portfolio, with a clear focus on the leasing and sales of our sites. You will drive occupancy, grow rental income and maximise returns across a fast-growing national estate of multi-tenanted industrial outdoor storage.
You will be responsible for the performance and management of the portfolio, from leasing strategy and deal negotiation through to retention, rent growth and net operating income, working closely with operations, finance and the wider commercial team.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the leasing and sales of getYards sites, from first enquiry through to signed licence or lease
• Drive occupancy and rental income across the portfolio, minimising voids and bad debt
• Own the business plan for each asset, with clear targets for occupancy, rent and net operating income
• Generate and convert occupier demand through agents, direct outreach and your own network
• Optimise the yard and unit mix on each site to maximise revenue per acre
• Monitor and analyse financial performance across sites and report on portfolio KPIs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with occupiers, agents and stakeholders
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve operational performance and customer retention
• Contribute to long-term strategic planning and expansion
What We Are Looking For
• Proven experience in asset management or leasing, ideally within real estate, logistics or storage sectors
• Experience in open storage or industrial outdoor storage yards is an advantage but not essential
• Strong commercial mindset with deal-making and negotiation experience
• Financial analysis and portfolio management expertise
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Entrepreneurial approach with the ability to operate in a fast-growth environment
