Remedy are looking for an experienced, passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to work with children with a range of special needs, focusing on assessment, intervention, and creating therapeutic plans. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educational professionals, and may also include providing training. Role and responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, develop individualised intervention plans, and deliver evidence-based therapies to children with various needs. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, parents, and other professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to care Provide training and support to schools, families, and other staff on best practices for supporting children's occupational therapy needs Manage a caseload of children, meeting on a regular basis, providing ongoing support and monitoring their progress throughout the academic year Develop and utilise specialist skills in areas such as sensory integration, or other relevant interventions.
