Benefits

Purpose
* To assist the Curriculum Director in the management and review of the curriculum in accordance with College policies
* To undertake a teaching programme and all aspects of the teaching and learning process (equating to 350 taught hours per annum)
* To act as a Course Leader for designated course(s)
* To participate in liaison activities associated with the programme area and those relating to the College provision
* Develop and maintain professional competence in the post and in other duties performed on behalf of the Curriculum of the College
* Performance and People Management
Skills / Experience
* Experience in leading teams
* Experience in teaching the relevant subject area
* Excellent knowledge of recent initiatives in curriculum development and design
Qualifications
* Grade C (or above) or equivalent English and Maths
* Level 3 qualification in the relevant area of expertise (Electrical & Carpentry)
* Level 5 Teaching qualification
* Relevant degree and/or appropriate level of professional qualifications
