Technical Specialist (Product Innovation & Delivery)
We have partnered with a globally recognised consumer brand with a strong international footprint and a reputation for delivering innovative, high-quality products across global markets.
As the organisation continues to expand its product portfolio across the EMEA region, they are looking to appoint a Technical Specialist to support the development, scale-up and delivery of new products across their external manufacturing network.
This is a highly hands-on role positioned at the centre of product innovation and manufacturing delivery, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure new products are technically validated, production-ready and successfully launched into market.
Role Overview:
As Technical Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering a high-volume pipeline of new products from development through to full-scale production.
Working closely with teams across product development, quality, supply chain and external manufacturing partners, you will ensure that products are successfully scaled, technically validated and delivered in line with launch timelines.
The role offers strong exposure to the full product lifecycle and would suit someone who enjoys being close to the manufacturing environment and seeing products transition from concept through to large-scale production.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting and executing production trials and product scale-up across multiple manufacturing sites
* Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, including trial protocols, validation plans and technical reports
* Collaborating cross-functionally with NPD, quality, operations and supply chain teams to support successful product delivery
* Working closely with third-party manufacturing partners to ensure processes are optimised for production
* Troubleshooting technical issues during scale-up and manufacturing trials
* Ensuring products meet quality, safety and specification standards prior to launch
* Contributing to the successful commercial launch of new products across the EMEA region
Requirements:
* 2–4 years’ experience in a technical, process or product development role within FMCG, beverage or liquid manufacturing
* A scientific or engineering degree (e.g. food science, chemical engineering, process engineering or similar)
* Experience supporting production trials, product scale-up or manufacturing validation
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Comfortable working in a cross-functional environment with both internal teams and external manufacturing partners
