As Care Assistants within the Complex Care service, you will be asked to work as part of a team to empower the people we provide support to who have severe autism and learning disabilities to take control of their own lives and to actively seek out opportunities to achieve their full potential as individuals within society.
You will promote social inclusion and offer opportunities for our service users to access a range of community settings. Support service users by encouraging their living skills in their own home in a person-centred way that promotes the principles of social inclusion.
You will be assisting with everyday life skills, personal care, housework, shopping, cooking, attending appointments, administering medication, keep records and record information in service users support plans. Supporting to maintain regular contact with family & friends, social events/activities, colleges, work opportunities, and holidays.
