Job Description
As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging financial data to drive strategic business decisions and optimise financial performance.
The Business Planning, Analysis and Decision Support team is integral to the organisation, specialising in the analysis of financial data to enable informed decision-making processes.
Within this team your primary focus will be on Operations, our largest function, which includes front-facing teams such as Customer Services and compliance teams dedicated to Responsible Gambling and Anti-Money Laundering. Additionally, you will oversee certain back-office functions, including Human Resources and Legal.
Your analytical insights will empower Senior Management to make strategic business decisions. A key aspect of this position is effective stakeholder management and engagement. You will collaborate closely on budgeting and reforecasts, conduct regular performance reviews, and develop compelling business cases for new initiatives and operational improvements. Your ability to communicate insights clearly and work collaboratively across functions will be vital in driving the success of our operations.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Qualifications
* ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified.
* Proven experience in financial analysis, modelling, and interpreting large datasets.
* Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and financial modelling.
* Familiarity with financial systems and data visualisation tools.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
* Self-driven with a proactive approach to tasks.

* Developing and maintaining financial models to analyse performance metrics and trends.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide financial insights.
* Conducting variance analysis and identifying areas for process improvement.
* Creating and delivering reports and presentations to communicate financial findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
* Assisting in the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
* Supporting the implementation of financial systems and tools to streamline processes.
* Participating in strategic projects by providing financial expertise and analysis.
* Responding to ad-hoc analysis requests from various departments to support decision-making.
