Several outstanding opportunities have arisen for a number of Team Member roles, reporting to a Production Leader on our Washington Campus.
Our site at Washington, Tyne and Wear, makes high-precision discs that hold fan blades and turbine blades in place while powering Rolls-Royce engines, including the Trent XWB, the world's most efficient large engine in service today.
The site is divided into two facilities: the Washington Manufacturing Facility, producing discs at high volume for Trent engines, and the Fleet Support Facility, dedicated to work on discs for specific civil and defence aero engines such as the Trent 500, Trent 800, and other projects.

Our hybrid working model allows you to balance time between office, home, or remote locations, with an expectation to attend the workplace approximately three days per week.
The normal working hours are 40 hours per week, with a rotating 12-hour shift pattern covering mornings, afternoons, and nights over five days.
What you will be doing:
You will perform manufacturing and operational tasks in line with team, statutory, and company standards, including manufacturing and assembly of components and sub-assemblies, and:
* Participate in process improvement activities and compliance methodologies to meet customer needs and reduce costs.
* Follow production plans to meet customer requirements.
* Contribute to operational improvements and cost reductions.
* Help achieve cell performance targets.
* Perform asset maintenance to ensure equipment and facilities are safe and reliable.
* Work with team members to meet objectives, share knowledge, and train others.
Who we're looking for:
At Rolls-Royce, safety is our priority, and we value integrity, simplicity, and making a difference. Candidates should demonstrate understanding of health and safety standards and possess:
* Completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship, including NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent.
* Experience in processes such as Machining, Balance, De-burr, Broach, AFM, Grind.
* A willingness to learn and adapt across various products, processes, and technologies.
* Strong process management skills and adherence to operating procedures.
* Experience working in a team environment, building relationships, and training colleagues.
