Job Description
3. Assist in preparing accurate financial reports and management accounts.
4. Support budgeting and forecasting activities for the organisation.
5. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
6. Manage financial transactions, including reconciliations and ledger postings.
7. Provide assistance during audits and implement recommendations as required.
8. Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate cost tracking.
9. Support the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory returns.
10. Contribute to process improvements within the Accounting & Finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
11. Experience in accounting or financial management, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
12. Relevant qualifications or working towards a recognised accounting qualification.
13. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
15. An understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
16. The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
17. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
