Ceremonies Support Officer | Registration Service | Part Time | Preston, Lancashire
We are recruiting a Ceremonies Support Officer to work at the Preston Registration Office, providing clerical, administrative and technical support for statutory and non‑statutory ceremonies in Lancashire. This is a permanent 520 hour annualised post, including weekend and bank holiday enhancements as required.
Salary £25,989 – £28,142 per annum
Working hours 21 hours per week (annualised 520 hours)
Location Preston, Lancashire
Responsibilities
* Accurate and timely recording of Births, Still‑Births, Deaths, Marriages and Civil Partnerships
* Processing notice of intended marriages or civil partnerships
* Customer focused service delivery using digital resources
* Provide administrative and technical support following work procedures without close supervision
Qualifications
* Experience in providing administrative and technical support
* Excellent digital skills and accuracy
* Effective team working and confident using digital resources
