This role begins as a temporary position running through to the end of the academic year, with a clear pathway to a permanent contract starting in September.This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative andmitted teacher to inspire students through the performing arts and contribute to a thriving department.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging and imaginative Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
2. Encourage student creativity, confidence, and performance skills
3. Plan and assess lessons in line with curriculum expectations.
4. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
5. Support extracurricular activities such as school productions (desirable)
Candidate Requirements
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
7. Experience teaching in a UK secondary school
8. Strong subject expertise in Drama and performing arts
9. Effective behaviour management andmunication skills
10. Enthusiasm for inspiring young people through Drama
