Main duties of the job
As a Health Care Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or Nursing Associate, primarily assisting with patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
You will support clinical colleagues, uphold respect and dignity for all patients, and deliver high-quality customer care to patients, relatives, carers, and colleagues. This role demands attention to detail, a drive to provide excellent care, and a commitment to professional development. Job responsibilities
As a B3 HCA at FHFT, your clinical duties may include: please refer to the full JD for a detailed list.
* Undertaking clinical activities such as collecting samples, recording vital signs, and advising nurses on patient condition changes.
* Providing care for patients requiring enhanced observation (1:1) or bay-based monitoring.
* Supporting the implementation of care plans.
* Assisting patients with eating, drinking, and personal hygiene.
* Supporting safe patient mobility and rehabilitation goals.

Salary: £25,883 to £26,958 per year, inclusive of HCAS, pro-rata.
