The Role:
To assist the production supervisor/manager in the day to day running of the department and ensure
adequate and trained people resources, food quality and maximum efficiency is achieved. To provide
cover within production in the supervisor's absence.
Duties:
· Manage and develop your team to achieve company operational objectives and KPI's..
· Ensure that all Food safety, quality and Health & Safety rules and procedures are followed by
all operatives.
· Carry out all Food Safety and Quality Checks inc ccp's
· Ensure the safe operation of machinery including start up checks and ensure defects are
reported and actioned
· Ensure all company documentation is completed accurately.
· Ensure all orders are produced to the highest quality standard, within the set time frame and
within customer specification maximising efficiency and minimising waste
· Assist in preparation for internal and external audits and during on site audits/visits.
· Any other duties that are deemed within your capability in accordance with the role
requirements and level within the company.
