We are looking for a new Quantity Surveyor to add value and bring professionalism and experience to the team. Coordinating the surveyor s functions within the team & meeting management objectives. Compliance with NEC suite of Contracts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND SERVICE STANDARDS AS A QUANTITY SURVEYOR
* Monitoring of costs & maximising value on schemes
* Preconstruction Works
* Previous Target Cost Experience
* Term Service Contract Experience using SOR to produce Task Quotations
* Preparation of cost/value information
* Accurate forecast for management accounts
* Monthly review of accounts
* Financial assessments through to final agreement
* Assisting with procurement and other preconstruction activities
* Experienced user of EXCEL and CEMAR
* Keeping to all deadlines agreed
* Consistently working at a level to achieve the tasks required
* All correspondence acknowledged or actioned within a reasonable period
* All reports submitted within 1 day of close of reporting period
* Attend site visits to review progress, measure works, and assess risks
* Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with specifications and RAMS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* BSc Quantity Surveying
* RICS or HND
* At least 5 years experience in the Construction Industry working under NEC conditions of contract
