We are looking for an Senior Arboriculture Consultant to join our Environment and Planning (E&P) team at our Leatherhead office. This role offers the chance to be involved in a wide range of utility and infrastructure projects across the UK, working alongside our multidisciplinary team on some of the most significant projects throughout the country with a range of clients.
Responsibilities
* Advise on all scopes of arboriculture and restoration, including CAVAT Assessments and continuation of BS5837 tree surveys.
* Produce Baseline Reports, Arboricultural Impact Assessments (AIA), Arboricultural Method Statements (AMS), Tree Constraints Plans, and Tree Protection Plans.
* Lead consultation with local authority tree officers and other stakeholders to support project teams on arboricultural matters.
* Collaborate with ecologists, landscape architects, and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated solutions.
* Support project delivery and contribute to improving team productivity.
* Engage with clients to provide clear, value-driven arboricultural advice.
Qualifications
* Arboriculture qualification to a minimum of Level 3.
* Surveying and report writing skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the UK.
* Experience with CAD software and in creating Tree Constraints Plans, Tree Protection Plans, and Arboriculture Impact Assessments desirable but not essential.
* Familiarity with BS5837 surveys and tree protection plans.
* GIS skills beneficial but not essential.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
