Job Title: Support Worker - Care Experienced Young People (16-21) - PermanentLocation: Swindon & Wroughton (two homes)Salary: £26,000-£28,580 + £75 per sleep-in + benefits
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for 1-2 permanent Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting care-experienced young people aged 16-21. The homes provide a safe, supportive environment where young people can develop their independence skills and prepare for adulthood.
You will be based in one of two homes:
* Oxford Road, Swindon
* Moormead Road, Wroughton
The role:
* Work collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.
* Support and mentor young people in developing life skills, education, and emotional wellbeing.
* Apply a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach.
* Work on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience working with children/young people in social care.
* Understanding of trauma, adolescent development, anxiety and depression.
* A childcare qualification or willingness to complete one.
* Right to work in the UK (must be aged 21+ and resident in the UK for the last 5 years).
Pay & Benefits:
* £26,000-£28,580 per year (40 hours/week).

Shift patterns:
* 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 7am-11pm.
* Sleep-ins: 11pm-7am.
