Health and Safety Manager – M&E Construction.
BMSL is seeking an experienced and proactive professional to lead H&S across multiple construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Health and Safety Systems:
* Develop, implement, and maintain H&S systems compliant with legislation and best practice.
* Ensure compliance with regulations.
* Conduct regular site audits and inspections.
* Risk Assessment & Control:
* Identify and assess health and safety risks.
* Implement and monitor effective control measures.
* Training & Safety Culture:
* Design and deliver H&S training for staff and subcontractors.
* Foster a strong company-wide safety culture.
* Incident Management:
* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses.
* Prepare reports and implement corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate H&S incident records.
* Compliance & Reporting:
* Ensure adherence to all relevant H&S legislation.
* Provide regular reports to senior management and stakeholders.
* Stakeholder Engagement:
* Communicate and collaborate on H&S matters with clients, subcontractors, and other parties.
Key Requirements:
* NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
* Significant experience in construction H&S management, ideally with a national contractor.
* Strong knowledge of H&S legislation.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
* Experience developing H&S management systems.
* Proficiency in H&S software and reporting tools
