MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE We are looking for a Stock Controller to join our Supply Chain Team. As Stock Controller you will be responsible for managing stock levels across multiple locations, working alongside the operational teams to improve the process, and ensuring minimal discrepancies. ACCOUNTABILITES This role will involve the following responsibilities: Maintaining accurate records of stock throughout all locations/branches ensuring the system is up to date. Continuous analysis of data, reporting and stock monitoring. Responsible for the daily cycle counts in Newry; running the daily reports; and thorough investigation of any significant discrepancies. Play a leading role in the co-ordination and management of year end stock takes. Regular review of goods inwards, returns, damages, etc to ensure stock is not accumulating. Regular review of stock in transit to UK branches. Rectify any discrepancies and follow up with a root cause analysis. Run daily replenishment reports. Run weekly reports on warehouse space, damages, stock downloads, stock adjustments, etc. Rectify general stock discrepancies. Work alongside the Quality Control Inspector, reviewing faulty or damaged stock. Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and suggesting corrective actions. SKILLS KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Essential Skills & Experience Analytically and numerically competent. Strong organisational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word with a particular focus on Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels. Must be flexible to travel to other MyLife branches, i.e. Scotland and England. Desirable Skills & Experience Previous experience in a similar role. An understanding of warehouse planning, inventory processes & quality standards. Experience working with ERP system.
