If you would like to be part of our success story, take a look at the below opportunity to see if it's the right fit for you.

We are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated paediatric occupational therapists (NHS Band 6 Equivalent) to contribute to our growing occupational therapy service. This role will attract a health market supplement in addition to the existing salary

This position is a fantastic opportunity to work and develop as an individual and as part of a team gaining clinical and operational experience in a supportive environment across a range of clinical areas. As a Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist for Achieving for Children you will provide occupational therapy assessment, intervention and advice to children, young people and their families to support their development and participation in activities of daily living and access to learning.

The Achieving for Children Paediatric Occupational Therapy Service is part of the Integrated Team for Children with Disabilities Service based at the Moor Lane Centre in Chessington, funded jointly by the Royal Borough of Kingston and NHS Kingston. The team provides a service to children and young people, aged 0 - 19, experiencing functional difficulties as a result of neurological or developmental difficulties.

As a Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist within Achieving for Children, you will carry a specialist caseload of children and young people with a variety of complex physical, learning and developmental needs. You will work closely with members of the MDT and parents and carers to achieve the best outcomes for the young people. As a member of an established community and school based occupational therapy team, you will use the tiered model and evidenced based practice within special schools and specialist resource provisions.

Our current vacancy is due to expanding our team in:

* Our local Special Schools who provide an outstanding education service supporting children and young people aged 4-19 years with severe and complex learning disabilities.
* Our local Specialist Resource Provisions based across both Kingston and Richmond boroughs supporting children and young people aged 4-11 years with social communication difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
