3. New Facilities: Recently relocated to a larger, refurbished Cardiac Investigation Unit, featuring new clinic rooms, admin spaces, and staff areas.
4. Commitment to Development: A strong track record in supporting professional development, including exams, academic study, and representation at national and regional meetings
Repayment clause applies to the welcome payment. The welcome payments is for £10,560 and is subject to a 2-year contract. The welcome payment will be made in the following tranches. The first payment of £5280 will be made on commencement with the trust, and a further £5280 payment will be made on 25th month of service. This welcome payment is only open to applicants joining us as a full-time or part-time permanent employees.*
Main duties of the job
As a key member of our Cardiology Department, you will be responsible for delivering expert care in cardiac rhythm management, including device implantation, programming, and follow-up. Your work will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care in a modern and forward-thinking environment.
5. CRM Device Management: Independently following up all CRM devices (including remote monitoring). Reprogramming devices in line with national and local guidelines. Supporting implantation of pacemakers, ICDs (including S-ICDs), CRT devices, and Conduction System Pacing.
6. Service Development & Leadership: Supporting the CRM Lead Cardiac Physiologist with service development and daily operations, including stock management, data entry/submission, and manufacturer advisories. Providing training to junior team members and the wider MDT
7. Coronary Angiography & Intervention: Participating in procedures, including a Primary PCI service during normal hours and pacemaker implantation.
8. Non-Invasive Cardiac Testing: Contributing to exercise testing (including alongside radiology for perfusion scanning), ambulatory monitoring, and ECG services.
9. Professional Development: Managing your own learning and staying up to date with emerging evidence and national guidance, with full support from the Trust.

About You
To thrive in this role, you will need to be:
·Fully Qualified and Accredited: BHRS (British Heart Rhythm Society) and IBHRE (International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners) accreditation is essential.
·Highly Experienced in CRM: Demonstrable expertise in device implantation, follow-up, and troubleshooting.
