GSL Education are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join schools in the Maltby area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, foster a love of learning, and support pupils in achieving their full potential across the relevant Key Stages.
Responsibilities as an English Teacher:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring English lessons tailored to a range of abilities.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils feel motivated to achieve.
* Support pupils in developing essential literacy, analytical, and communication skills.
* Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to raising attainment.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
* Uphold high standards of classroom management, behaviour, and safeguarding.
Requirements for English Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
* Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs.
* A passion for inspiring young people and promoting a love for English.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
