Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Design Technology Teacher to join a school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with creativity and practical skills to inspire students and support them in developing problem-solving, design, and technical abilities. Beginning ASAP.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Teach a range of DT disciplines such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Textiles (depending on specialism).
* Encourage students to use creativity, innovation, and critical thinking in their design work.
* Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop/classroom environment.
* Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
* Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities such as clubs or competitions.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for Design Technology.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
* Good classroom management and organisational skills as a Design Technology Teacher.
* Commitment to health and safety in practical lessons.
