The Role and the Team

We have an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our Marketing team. You will act as the face of Blue Light Card and manage relationships with major public service organisations such as NHS trusts, teacher unions, local councils, military groups, and social care networks.

As the Strategic Partnerships Manager, you’ll build partnerships that accelerate new member acquisition and increase awareness through trusted institutions. This role combines business development, stakeholder engagement, account management, and B2B marketing.


What You’ll Do

* Own and deliver our institutional partnerships strategy across health, education, social care, emergency services, and armed forces.
* Identify, pitch, and secure partnerships with high-impact organisations (e.g., NHS trusts, local authorities, unions, military welfare groups).
* Design partner activation and onboarding frameworks to reach eligible members quickly.
* Coordinate and attend events, managing the events calendar.
* Manage new partner activations, including conferences, partner events, and member engagement days.
* Create templates and co-branded assets for partners to promote Blue Light Card within their communities.
* Shape campaigns to drive sign-ups, track results, and optimise impact.
* Own performance metrics related to partner acquisition, activation, and member engagement, sharing insights with product, growth, and lifecycle teams.


What You’ll Bring

* Experience in partnerships, business development, account management, or B2B marketing, preferably in a high-growth, tech-led environment.
* Proven ability to proactively generate leads that lead to growth.
* Success in building partnerships that drive customer acquisition or growth.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior external stakeholders.
* Outcome-focused mindset, comfortable with targets, KPIs, and agile testing.
* Experience working with or selling into public sectors such as NHS, education, social care, local government, or unions is desirable.
* Experience activating partnerships through multi-channel marketing campaigns is beneficial.
* Flexibility to travel and attend events outside normal hours.
