Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer

This Leicester-based multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to develop their skills while working on a variety of contaminated land and ground investigation projects across the East Midlands. You’ll receive hands-on training, mentoring from experienced engineers, and structured support towards your professional development.
Key responsibilities for this Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer role include:
1. Assisting with Phase 1 and Phase 2 ground investigations and site assessments.
2. Supporting site supervision, logging, and data collection.
3. Contributing to desktop studies and factual and interpretive report writing.
4. Assisting with basic geotechnical and geo-environmental assessments (e.g. foundations, earthworks, and contamination risks).
5. Working collaboratively within project teams to deliver projects on time and to budget.

To be considered for the Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer role you must:
10. Hold a degree in geotechnical engineering, geology, geoscience, environmental science, earth sciences or a related discipline.
11. Ideally, have some relevant experience (e.g. placement year, internship, or graduate role) and a familiarity with trial pitting and desktop studies.
12. Hold a clean and valid UK driving licence.
13. Be commutable to the Leicester area.
14. Have full right to work in the UK.
