Overview
To establish and maintain relationships with automotive dealers and obtain market intelligence on incentives, transaction data, finance (monthly payment & leasing), specs, volumes, onboarding, and sign Sales Link deals with dealer groups and other relevant data. To identify and engage senior executives in the dealership environment to support JATO business development and drive opportunities, sign-ups, and engagement with dealers for JATO services such as SalesLink and Market View. To identify and qualify sourcing opportunities and secure commitments for usable data contribution and network-building across dealer organisations. To generate data coverage aligned with JATO’s product strategy for datasets built around dealership market data.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and implement a data sourcing strategy for the English automotive market in line with coverage targets for relevant data sets.
* Identify, prioritise, and execute opportunities to gather and leverage automotive retail data that is usable and helps achieve data coverage targets.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with dealer organisations to ensure continued access to required data, focusing on data quality and cost-effectiveness.
* Provide retail market knowledge and insight for JATO partners within the English automotive franchise network.
* Collaborate with Product, Data & Analytics and Sales teams to translate customer needs into value-added JATO solutions.
* Coordinate data processing with the Digital Ingest and Data Operations teams for Incentives and TA.
* Develop and deliver scalable expansion plans for new data sets to expand JATO’s footprint in Europe and Great Britain.
Key Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in an automotive franchise network environment, preferably with Sales/Business Development in the English market.
* A master’s degree or equivalent is desirable.
* Thorough understanding of automotive dealer operations, with a focus on automotive campaigns and commercial strategies.
* Understanding of the automotive retail ecosystem.
* Understanding of Dealer Management systems is an asset.
* Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with others inside and outside the organisation.
* Excellent organising and planning skills to coordinate multiple tasks.
* Ability to work independently and report clearly/regularly to management, managing conflicting priorities.
* Proficient with MS Office.
* Highly developed communication skills in English.
* Ability to interact and engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
* Passionate and committed to meeting deadlines and thriving in a fast-paced, changing environment.
