Group Health and Safety Manager – The Role:
The Group Health & Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety strategies across all business units within the group. The role ensures compliance with legal requirements, promotes a strong safety culture, and drives continuous improvement in health, safety, and wellbeing performance across the organization.
Health and Safety Manager – Main Responsibilities:
– Act as Group Health and Safety Representative, devising and implementing Health & Safety procedures, Risk Assessments and policies
– Work alongside H&S Consultancy firm to embed H&S principles across the company
– Cascade policies and Risk assessments to H&S Champions/Managers to implement in their teams.
– Set up and chair H&S Committee meetings
– Regular audit of company H&S processes and procedures, advising of best practice amendments to the Senior Management Team
– Oversee risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work
– Monitor and analyse incident, accident, and near-miss data
– Lead investigations into serious incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented
– Identify and implement H&S synergies and best practice across the group
– Track KPIs related to safety performance
– Oversee the provision of Personal Protective Equipment and Uniform
– Co-ordinate H&S training across the group
– Regularly Review H&S Training providers for most cost-effective solutions and present to SMT/COO for approval

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
– NEBOSH qualified
– Strong management and influencing skills
– Project Management experience
-Experience of providing exceptional customer service to client group
– IT literate
– Excellent organisational skills
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
