The role of a Special needs Teaching Assistant requires you to individually support a pupil with Special needs and work closely alongside the classroom teacher with planning, assessments and the children's progress.
The pupil has numerous learning needs, has visual impairments and can scratch, bite and kick. You will also need to undergo medical training from the school nurse to use equipment the child needs.

3. Ideally to have had some previous experience of working as a teaching assistant or 1:1 with children who have special needs.
4. Right to work in the UK.
5. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to process one.
