The Hygiene Team Member will ensure that hygiene and housekeeping standards are maintained at a high level across the site. Responsibilities include cleaning facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to meet ABSS standards, and ensuring safety for yourself and colleagues to achieve the ‘Safety First’ vision and mission.

This role is based on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights).
Key Accountabilities
* Adhere to daily schedules and meet standards for assigned areas
* Contribute to team efforts and meet departmental KPIs
* Follow instructions, training, and guidelines from the hygiene department
* Inform Hygiene Controller / Coordinator to validate completed cleaning tasks
* Identify and address potential food safety risks in areas
* Report hazards or defects to the Hygiene Controller / Coordinator
* Manage workwear deliveries from the Laundry
* Assist in waste reduction and removal of bakery and returns waste
* Clean and pick litter from the site perimeter
* Replenish and clean facilities, including the canteen and surrounding areas
* Operate floor cleaning machinery

* Collaborate with pest control to minimize pest activity
