Estimator / Junior Quantity Surveyor Civil Engineering & Utilities
Location:Battle, East Sussex
Salary:Up to £35,000 per annum (DOE)

Vector Recruitment Solutions are seeking a Estimatorto join our clients expanding commercial team within the civil engineering and utilities sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with a strong eye for detail and commercial awareness to support high-profile infrastructure projects using cutting-edge and industry leading technology.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate cost estimates, valuations, and final accounts
* Monitor project costs and drive profitability through cost control
* Manage contracts and support contract negotiations
* Support the Commercial Manager with dispute resolution and claims management
* Submit timely and accurate payment applications / invoices and manage variations
* Collaborate with project teams on financial reporting and forecasting
Requirements:
1. Experience as a Estimator, or Trainee QS within Civil Engineering, Drainage, or Utilities
2. Knowledge of NEC, JCT, or similar contracts
3. Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills
4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cost management software
