Heavy Plant Engineer

Are you an experienced engineer with a background of working on heavy plant, and looking for a new challenge?
We are seeking talented and experienced Heavy Plant Engineers to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in servicing and maintaining heavy equipment such as cranes, excavators, dumpers, crushers and screeners or piling equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in various construction and industrial settings.
Responsibilities:
* Routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
* Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
* Thorough examinations of components, to identify potential defects or deficiencies.
* Alongside internal teams and external stakeholders, working to schedule and execute service activities, minimize downtime and maximize uptime.
* Provide technical guidance and support to customers and onsite personnel, ensuring proper operation and maintenance practices.
* Keep accurate records of service activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.
Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering discipline.
* Experience working with heavy equipment in a field service capacity.
* Knowledge of heavy equipment/mining systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
* Diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
* Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and team members effectively.
