You will be part of a close-knit team who pride themselves in providing the highest standard of care to our patients and their families.
Main duties of the job
Our Inpatient ward at Sulis hosts patients following a variety of surgical procedures, including Orthopedics, ENT, Gynecology and General Surgery. You will be providing the highest standards of care as required within each of our care setting as well as considering specialist clinical needs of each patient. We encourage sharing of best practice across our site to develop your skills and take advantage of our excellent clinical leadership knowledge. At Sulis, we will help to develop you in your management of patients in a surgical environment and provide training for care of the Deteriorating Patient, Sepsis & News 2, and ILS.

Full Time/Part Time hours Permanent Due to the nature of an Inpatients Ward, shifts with be comprised of days, evenings, and nights. If you have NMC registration and a demonstrable record of CPD with knowledge of current issues in professional practice, then we would like to hear from you. Surgical nursing experience is desirable. We reserve the right to bring forward the closing date if sufficient applications are received *This bonus is offered to those who commence substantive employment within Sulis Hospital between 1st April 2023 31st Dec 2023 in a role dedicated to the hands-on delivery of patient care requiring registration with either the NMC or HCPC. The bonus is paid in two parts, £1500 at the end of your successful completion of your 3-month probation period and £1500 after 12 months of employment. For part time positions this bonus is pro-rata for joiners.
