Main Duties of the Job
The ANP will support primary care services, assist GPs, and work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead to provide advanced clinical practice and leadership.
- Need expert clinical skills and demonstrate judgement in assessing and managing wide-ranging and complex patient problems.
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team composed of registered and non-registered professionals, including mental health and substance misuse practitioners.
- Act as a role model, ensuring professional appearance and maintaining professional standards at all times. Support senior clinicians on site and contribute to the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure patient safety, manage complex cases, and apply the most up-to-date treatment methodologies to patient care.
Hours & Salary
The site currently offers a 24‑hour service with flexible shift patterns: 5 days per week, including some weekend working.
This position is full time. The annual salary is up to £66,792 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

Qualifications & Experience
- Registered Nurse – NMC only.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
- Masters in Advanced Practice or equivalent.
- Recognised prescribing qualification.
- Understanding of multi‑disciplinary and multi‑agency working.
- Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP and national standards.
- Experience in hospital, community or prison environments is desirable.
