Overview
The Humber and North Yorkshire Collaboration of Acute Providers (CAP) delivers programmes of work at scale to support improved patient care. This includes delivering the work plans for the Elective Clinical Networks supporting productive and clinically effective pathways. Working across the acute trusts within the provider collaborative, the post holder will be responsible for senior leadership to the Elective Networks. The Senior Lead is a lead member of the Clinical Networks, the Network Steering Group and the Elective programme and is responsible for working with the Network Clinical Director to provide strategic leadership to develop and deliver the elective network transformation plans across the Humber and North Yorkshire, working closely with colleagues across the Integrated Care System (ICS). The post holder will provide senior representation for Humber and North Yorkshire (HNY) Elective Networks at regional meetings and other senior meetings as required.
As the Senior Lead, the post holder will work as part of the elective networks and wider elective teams to maintain and enhance service provision, support recovery, transformation and future service sustainability across Humber and North Yorkshire. This includes working closely with the diagnostic colleagues, the cancer alliance, primary care, BI leads teams and the digital programme. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that clinical insight and experience underpins the programme ambitions which form delivery of short, medium and long-term planning activities.
Responsibilities
Senior leadership and representation: Provide senior leadership to the Elective Networks and represent Humber and North Yorkshire at regional and senior meetings as required. Work with the Network Clinical Director to deliver the elective network transformation plans across the HNY ICS.
Strategic delivery: Collaborate with the Network Steering Group, the Elective programme and the wider elective teams to develop and deliver strategic, short-, medium- and long-term planning activities. Ensure clinical insight informs all programme ambitions.
Collaboration and partnership: Work closely with diagnostic colleagues, the cancer alliance, primary care, BI leads, and the digital programme to enhance service provision, support recovery, transformation and future sustainability across Humber and North Yorkshire.
Regional representation: Provide senior representation for HNY Elective Networks at regional meetings and other senior meetings as required.

This role is home based to enable working across the Humber and North Yorkshire geography, requiring the postholder to travel to various locations across Humber and North Yorkshire and an expectation of frequent (minimum of 2 days a week) on-site working from hospital sites across Humber and North Yorkshire.
