THE ROLE As a Sheltered Housing Support Worker - Complex Needs, you will provide essential housing-related support and advocacy to individuals with multiple disadvantages, including rough sleepers and ex-rough sleepers. You will play a key role in helping residents access housing, health, and support services to achieve greater stability and independence. Key responsibilities include: Delivering person-centred support within hostel and outreach settings Supporting individuals to access health services, treatment, and housing options Advising on welfare benefits, financial wellbeing, and tenancy rights Advocating for customers and ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making Building strong, trusting relationships with people who are traditionally hard to engage Liaising with partner agencies to provide holistic wraparound support Responding to safeguarding concerns with professionalism and care THE CANDIDATE The successful candidate will have previous experience in a support role, ideally working with individuals with complex needs, trauma, or housing challenges.
